Tytti: W-Wait a minute. This is certainly Volkruss…but it’s an incomplete avatar.

Xenia: Still, the Volkruss Cult is good at moving in the shadows, so it’s hard to gather intelligence on them.
Mio: Shu’s the best at keeping tabs on them, right?

Masaki: That jerk. What the heck’s he thinking? The Volkruss Cult was supposed to be his enemy.
Lune: That’s the key word…was. Still, he’ll probably explain everything eventually. You know how he is.
Masaki: The question is whether or not his explanation will be good enough for me.
Tytti: Now now, let’s settle down. We can’t stay here forever, so lets head back to the royal capital.
Mio: Yang Long, Tytti, Precia and I have something we need to do, so we’ll catch up with you later.
Masaki: Alright…let’s head back.

Satilus: Nevertheless, even if he is a renegade force, that man bought us time, and thus Lord Volkruss was successfully resurrected.

Satilus: I lacked the strength to see my task through…

A world that exists in an alternate dimension within the Earth — La Gias.
This world contains a civilization far different and a technological level well beyond those found on the Earth.
In the holy kingdom of Langran, the largest and oldest country in La Gias, a prophecy was made.
“Langran shall be destroyed by a spirit of hatred. And it shall bring calamity to all living beings in La Gias.”
To prevent the prophecy from coming to pass, Langran developed giant humanoid machines called Masouki, or Elementals.
These Masouki are powered by perpetual motion engines, which use the pilot’s life force, or Prana, as a source of energy.
Among the Masouki are four that are called the Masoukishin, or Elemental Lords, which have far greater power due to contracting four of the most powerful elemental spirits.
However, this also proved to be a double-edged sword.
Because of their higher level of power, the Masoukishin required a higher level of Prana.
And the people in La Gias who could handle that much Prana consumption were few and far between.
The Langran government then made a drastic decision, summoning potential pilots from the Surface.
Among those summoned was a boy named Masaki Andoh.
At first, Masaki was repulsed by being suddenly brought to another world, but as he learned of the danger that world faced, he found significance in protecting La Gias.
Masaki would continue to grow through various encounters and partings.
Yet due in part to the creation of the Masoukishin, La Gias found itself plunged into war.
A war that extended into the world on the Surface.
And all the while a malevolent cult that worshiped the evil spirit Volkruss spread chaos in the background.
Due to the efforts of Masaki and his allies, the flames of war have finally gone out.
Yet the embers of that fire continued to smolder.
And now —
A new threat is about to appear before Masaki and those who stand alongside him…
