1 Kaminarimon is the name of a gate located in the actual Sensoji temple, located in Asakusa, Tokyo. It’s not only Tokyo’s oldest temple, but Asakusa is where Banpresto’s HQ was formerly located. Further, there is a character named Kaminarimon in Banpresto’s SD Battle series, debuting in SD Battle Ōzumō: Heisei Hero Basho, a sumo-wrestling game.
