Chapter 25

Previous Chapter: Lune and Valsione | Next Chapter: His Resolve

Geneva – EFA HQ

Norman: Glad you made it here to Geneva, Laker.

Laker: For us to get called here…it must be serious.

Norman: It is. The EFA is taking the Aerogater’s demands seriously…

Norman: And we expect the EOT Council to intervene.

Laker: What? Then, who’s hosting the EDC meeting…?

Norman: President Albert Grey, representing the EOT Council..

Laker: (Then, we’re at a disadvantage.)

Norman: And President Brian Midcrid of the United Colonies is here.

Laker: All of the politicians…

Norman: The UCC captured him, but he was saved by the Hiryu….

Norman: He might be sympathetic to us.

Laker: (I don’t know…he’s unpredictable.)

Inside Geneva HQ

Albert: Do you realize how serious this is!?

Albert: The enemy is stronger and more advanced than us. Do you really think we can win!?

Norman: The EDC has prepared specifically for this situation.

Albert: Insanity! I can’t allow mankind to be dragged into this!

Norman: Will mankind’s rights be protected if we surrender?

Albert: Depends on how the negotiations go.

Laker: They want us to disarm and surrender.

Laker: Don’t you think there might not be any negotiations?

Albert: They had already agreed to a meeting in the Antarctic.

Albert: If the EFA hadn’t allowed it to be interrupted, it might not have come to this.

Norman: How dare you! That meeting was under the direct control of the EOT Council…!

Brian: …Come now, there’s no point in trying to lay blame.

Albert: President Midcrid…

Brian: President Gray. If I may ask, why are the Aerogaters even here?

Albert: …I don’t know.

Brian: Then, as president of the United Colonies…

Brian: I’ll refuse to surrender.

Albert: Hmph…even though the UC has the White Star at its throat?

Brian: True…they do have the power to force their demands.

Brian: If only the DC and the UCC were intact…

Brian: With the EFA’s current state, we probably can’t beat the Aerogaters.

Albert: Then, you agree that we don’t want a war with them?

Brian: Not now. The DC war has exhausted Earth’s resources.

Brian: Another war, and it could mean the extinction of mankind…

Norman: …Then, are you thinking of surrendering the Earth?

Brian: No. Based on the information we have on the Aerogaters…

Brian: I’m against surrendering.

Albert: But, if we don’t surrender, won’t they attack us?

Brian: Are you sure? I don’t remember Levi Tolar saying that.

Albert: !

Brian: Usually, you demand surrender after crippling your enemy.

Brian: Yet, we’ve only taken minimal damage from the Aerogaters…

Brian: So I wonder why Levi used the word surrender?

Albert: That’s…because they have superior forces.

Brian: Then, why don’t they just come out and attack us?

Brian: And, why haven’t they made any kind of threat?

Albert: W-Well…

Brian: These questions need answering. Take the thirty days for instance…

Brian: Isn’t that a bit too long to let us think it over?

Albert: What…what are you trying to say?

Brian: …General Slay, with the EFA in its current state, how long would it take to muster an attack on the White Star?

Norman: …Factoring in time for weapon preparation, twenty days.

Brian: Then, thirty days would give us plenty of time to spare.

Albert: Y-You…think the Aerogaters intentionally gave us time to retaliate?

Brian: I believe so.

Albert: Absurd. How could that possibly benefit them!?

Albert: They’re giving us a thirty day grace period simply so that we can mull it over!

Brian: President Gray…they are not human. They may not think like us.

Brian: I think…that we need to find out what they really want, and then decide.

Brian: Fortunately, we still have some time.

Albert: F-Fine. But at the same time, we’ll try and negotiate with them before anything else.

Norman: …..

Albert: But, don’t forget the EOT Council has complete authority.

Albert: Major General Slay…I strictly forbid you to engage the Aerogaters.

Norman: What…! Even if we’re attacked?

Albert: Yes. If you disobey orders, you’ll be held accountable.

Norman: …..

Albert: And, the Hagane and the Hiryu Custom are to protect Geneva.

Laker: (He wants to keep an eye on those two ships…)

Albert: Meeting adjourned.

EOT Council

Karl: Hmph…this is way over Albert’s head.

Nibhal: This Brian Midcrid…must be quite a guy.

Karl: He’s the man responsible for uniting the colonies.

Nibhal: Hmm…it seems like a waste to simply keep him as president of the UC.

Karl: To me, he’s just a pawn to control the Colonists.

Nibhal: (…Eventually, he may be the one to control the entire Earth…)

Nibhal: (I should keep an eye on him, along with Shu Shirakawa.)

Karl: Anyway, how are the negotiations coming?

Nibhal: Don’t worry…I’ll take care of it.

Karl: Also, I didn’t see that woman Levi Tolar on your list.

Karl: Are you sure you have no ties to them?

Nibhal: Really now. There is no connection. No more that you have…

Karl: Hmm…

Nibhal: (Now…let’s see what those pathetic wanderers are up to…)

Hagane – Hangar

Irm: So…Leona paid no attention to you?

Tasuku: Uh, yeah. She seemed busy…

Irm: She’s just playing hard to get.

Tasuku: How do you know that?

Irm: …Trust me, I know the type.

Kyosuke: …..

Tasuku: Huh? Lt. Kyosuke, why are you still here? The Alt’s maintenance is finished.

Kyosuke: I know.

Irm: Worried about the Wildraubtier?

Kyosuke: Yeah. It’s been through a lot…

Tasuku: Really? It looks so weak…unlike the Alteisen.

Irm: Actually, it’s fallen apart before.

Tasuku: What!?

Irm: Back then…Kyosuke was testing it.

Tasuku: I-I can’t believe you’re still alive…

Tasuku: Lieutenant, can you demonstrate an escape for us?

Kyosuke: I’m not good in front of people.

Tasuku: That’s unfortunate. Maybe Lt. Excellen could be your assistant, and wear a bunny suit to inspire you…

Irm: Good idea.

Kyosuke: …Stop joking. She might actually make me do it.

Irm: At any rate…Kyosuke’s one of the luckiest guys I know.

Irm: Heck, he even survived a shuttle crash when he was at the academy.

Kyosuke: …That was a long time ago.

Irm: Did you know that Excellen was in that crash too?

Kyosuke: …She was?

Irm: You were even admitted to the same hospital. You two are quite lucky…

Kyosuke: (…No way…Excellen…is she…the one who…?)

Tasuku: Sounds like fate intervened.

Kyosuke: Maybe so…anyway, Irm…has the Raubtier been fixed?

Irm: Yeah.

Kyosuke: …Well, I don’t feel so bad about the mess-up now.

Irm: It was Han’s fault for giving such a reckless order.

Kyosuke: No. It was my fault. If only I had anticipated it…

Irm: You can handle the Alteisen fine.

Kyosuke: Heh…I must have a knack for piloting defects.

Tasuku: As I was saying, I’d like to get to know Leona better. Maybe acting like the Lieutenant here would help.

Irm: Hey, Kyosuke…you wanna make a bet?

Kyosuke: A bet…?

Irm: Yeah. On whether or not Tasuku can get a date with Leona…loser buys a round.

Tasuku: Wh…What the!?

Kyosuke: Alright, I bet that he will…I’m counting on you, Tasuku.

Irm: You always go for the long shot. I bet he fails.

Tasuku: M-Maaaaan. There’s something wrong about this.

Irm: Hm? Speak of the devil. Here comes the other half of our bet.

Leona: Raidiese…I should thank you.

Rai: For what?

Leona: Didn’t you put in a good word for me with Captain Daitetsu?

Rai: We need you on the team, that’s all.

Leona: Heh…you’re just like Major Elzam. Matter-of-fact and to the point.

Rai: …I’m nothing like him.

Leona: …You still haven’t forgiven him?

Rai: …..

Leona: …..

Rai: …He killed my sister-in-law during the Elpis Incident.

Leona: …He didn’t…he didn’t have a choice.

Leona: If the Major didn’t blow up the Elpis docking bay that the terrorists had hijacked…

Leona: We’d all be dead.

Rai: With his skills, he should have been able to save her!

Leona: Raidiese…

Rai: Instead, he blew her up with the bay!

Leona: …There was no time…if the Major hadn’t acted, Elpis would’ve been annihilated by those Bio-Chemical weapons…

Rai: I can’t forgive the fact that Elzam chose justice over his wife!

Rai: And my father…he said nothing!

Leona: Have you ever considered how the Major must have felt…when he had to shoot Miss Cattleya?

Rai: …!

Leona: He did it…to save everyone on the colony.

Leona: Think of how Elzam must have felt…

Leona: Having to kill the person he loved…have you even though of it?

Rai: …..

Leona: If you can’t even do that, you have no right to call yourself a Branstein…!

Rai: …..

Irm: …Sorry, I didn’t mean to eavesdrop.

Tasuku: (…So, Leona really looks up to Elzam…?)

Tasuku: (I guess I have a high standard to meet…)

Izu Base

Joyce: We’re taking the princess elsewhere…?

Hans: That’s right. The Far East Brigade isn’t safe anymore.

Joyce: Strange…why didn’t Commander Laker say anything about this?

Hans: There’s no time. Hurry up, L’Dahl.

Shine: …Is what you just said true?

Joyce: Princess…?

Shine: I have a bad feeling about this. I can feel…something…

Hans: (Heh…just like he said, you appear to have advanced precognitive powers.)

Joyce: Hans, what’s this all about?

Hans: Hmhmhm. There’s no need to worry, princess.

Shine: No, I will remain here.

Hans: They’re almost back. We must hurry.

Hans: To the place where you are needed most.

Shine: What…?

Joyce: …Shouldn’t we check in with Laker?

Hans: As I said…there’s no time.

Joyce: ! Y-You’re…!

Izu Base – Command Center

Sakae: Wait, why has our detection level been lowered to Mode D!?

Soldier: We were ordered by the Lt. Col. to do so…

Sakae: Hans!?

Operator: T5, come in! You are not cleared for takeoff!

Operator: …What? From Hans!? I received no such orders!

Sakae: What’s going on!?

Operator: T5 is about to take off!

Operator: They say it’s under Hans’ orders, but he never contacted us for clearance!

Sakae: !!

Chapter 25: Viper Fangs

Izu Base

Sakae: Lt. Col. Hans! What are you doing!?

Hans: I don’t need to explain to you.

Sakae: What…!

Hans: Prepare for takeoff.

Soldier: Yes sir.

Sakae: C-Coward…detain that transport!

Operator: Y-Yes sir!

*Kai and two jets deploy*

Kai: Geist 1 to T5! Land immediately or you will be attacked!

Hans: Really now. Don’t you value the life of a hostage?

Kai: Hostage!?

Shine: Let me go! Where are you taking me!? Sir Raidiese!!

Sakae: P-Princess Shine!!

Kai: What’s the meaning of this, Hans!?

Hans: Heh…I won’t have to see your faces again.

Kai: Hold it you! What do you mean!?

Operator: Vice-Commander! Unidentified vessel approaching!!

Sakae: What!?

Hans: My escort is here…

*Izu Base is bombarded*

Kai: Urggg!!

Operator: The hangar’s been damaged! Unable to deploy interceptors!!

Sakae: Wh-Who’s attacking us!?

*DC troops swarm the area*

Sakae: Th-The…DC remnants! Then, the reason Hans decreased the security level…

Kai: He was expecting them! He’s been working for the DC this whole time…that traitor!!

Thomas: How did it go, Hans Weber?

Hans: Just like Adler wanted, we now have the princess.

Thomas: Good! The prize is ours.

Hans: …Major Thomas Bright? Show some respect to your superiors.

Thomas: You’re nothing but a spy.

Thomas: I came all this way for HER.

Thomas: So as long as I’ve got the princess, why should I care about you?

Hans: You little…!

Thomas: Relax. I’ve secured your escape.

Sakae: Major Kai, the Hagane and Hiryu are on their way! Try to hold out!

Kai: Understood!!

*Conditions shown, Battle starts*

*T5 reaches the edge of the map*

Hans: Time to go.

*T5 escapes*

Kai: Wait, Hans! You traitor!!

Thomas: (OK…looks like my work here is done.)

Thomas: (I can’t beat the Hiryu and Hagane in this condition.)

Thomas: Men, stay here and destroy the Far East Brigade!

*Thomas leaves, battle resumes*

*Turn 3 Enemy Phase, Hagane and Hiryu appear*

Operator: The Hagane and Hiryu Custom have arrived!

Daitetsu: Vice-Commander, the princess?

Sakae: I-I’m sorry…Hans got away with her…

Lefina: O-Oh no…! We’re too late…

Rai: Tch…!

Ryusei: That weasel! He was a DC spy!!

Lune: And, he kidnapped a child…how low the DC has fallen!

Katina: OK, it’s time we go after them!

Kyosuke: No…we should finish off the DC attackers here.

Katina: But, now’s our chance to save the princess!

Ryusei: Are you saying we’re supposed to ignore Hans!?

Tasuku: He’s right, Lieutenant! You want him to get away!?

Katina: We need to crush that traitor!

Kyosuke: We can’t get our priorities mixed…what we need to do now is defeat the enemy mechs and defend the base.

Rai: For now…they won’t harm the princess…right?

Kyosuke: Right. And, we can’t afford to lose Izu Base.

Rai: …Understood.

Katina: …Man, that is cold.

Excellen: Not really…Kyosuke’s the kind to hold a grudge.

Kyosuke: …Hans Weber…we’ll settle this later.

Kyosuke: MY way…!

Excellen: Told ya so.

Tetsuya: All units! Engage the enemy!

*Prep screen, Units deploy, Conditions update, Battle resumes*

*Defeat all enemies, battle ends*

Izu Base – Briefing Room

Ryusei: Major, where is that transport taking the princess?

Ingram: Unknown. The T5 bypassed the security grid and vanished.

Rai: So, they’ll be difficult to pursue.

Ingram: Yes. Hans knows where the EFA radar sites are.

Ryusei: Even so, can’t we do anything!?

Rio: He’s right! We have to rescue her!

Rai: For now, we should stay put.

Rio: B-But!

Rai: Beyond the point where they dropped out of radar, we don’t even know where the DC is taking the princess.

Rai: And…don’t forget the White Star is right above us.

Rio: Are we just going to sacrifice her to the cause!? How can you be okay with that, Lieutenant!?

Rai: …!

Rai: (…It’s the same. Just like Cattleya…)

Kusuha: Rio…enough. Lt. Raidiese is just as concerned about Princess Shine…

Rio: ! S-Sorry…

Rai: …Forget it. She’s still alive. We’ll get her back.

Rio: Right…!

Ingram: Further plans will be discussed when Commander Laker returns.

Ingram: We stay put until then. Understand?

Rai: …Yes, sir.

Ingram: Rai, Ryusei…there’s something I need to tell you.

Ryusei: What is it, Major?

Ingram: Once Aya’s back, you’ll begin a special training regimen.

Ryusei: Special training…for what?

Ingram: I’ll explain later….after she gets back.

Izu Base – Hangar

Masaki: Man…I can’t believe we had a spy on this base.

Giado: Tell me about it. We were all surprised, mon.

Irm: It’s quite common these days…we’re still at war, after all.

Irm: I heard that the DC gained momentum when several EFA members defected.

Bullet: I remember…many EFA soldiers supported Bian and Maier.

Irm: Like Major Sanger Zonvolt and Major Elzam V. Branstein?

Bullet: Yes…

Masaki: Sanger? Who’s he?

Tasuku: Milady, would you care to answer?

Excellen: You must be Masaki Andoh? Allow me to explain!

Excellen: Sanger Zonvolt… the former leader of the ATX Team…

Excellen: He was also Kyosuke’s and Bullet’s mentor…got it, Masa?

Masaki: No nicknames!

Bullet: (Yeesh…she’s already getting to him…)

Irm: Major Sanger is a former member of the Aggressors, right?

Bullet: …Yes.

Irm: …I suppose we’re lucky that he was the only traitor among you at the time.

Bullet: If you say so, Lieutenant…but in my mind, I don’t think the Major’s a traitor.

Bullet: I think he sided with the DC and UCC to strengthen the EFA.

Masaki: Either way, it sure is a pain…the same can’t be said for Hans though, right?

Giado: No, he’s not so noble. He probably did it for money or power.

Irm: Now we know why Hans tried destroying the Wildraubtier.

Excellen: Huh?

Irm: He didn’t want the EFA to have a working PT.

Excellen: And Kyosuke ended up crashing as a result…ouch.

Irm: That’s right.

Bullet: That’s not fair. Where’s his sense of honor?

Giado: What are ya saying? Dere aren’t any spies like that.

Bullet: T-True…

Excellen: But, I feel kind of sorry for the Lt. Colonel.

Masaki: Sorry? Why?

Excellen: Because, he made Kyosuke angry.

Garnet: I-Is he that scary? Well…I guess he doesn’t smile much…

Excellen: Yeah, stay away from a fella like that. He’s gloomy.

Irm: Poor Kyosuke.

Excellen: (Hans’ betrayal aside, I wonder how the princess is doing…)

Excellen: (Why do the DC want her…?)

Excellen: (Maybe they want her to be THEIR princess…psh, yeah right.)

Izu Base – Command Center

Sakae: Welcome back, Commander Laker…

Laker: I read your report. it seems a lot has happened.

Sakae: I’m sorry. It was my fault…I’m ready to face any charges…

Laker: No, it’s not your fault. It’s mine.

Laker: Gather the crew of the Hagane and the Hiryu Custom at once.

Sakae: Y-Yes sir.

Izu Base – Control Room

Daitetsu: Thirty days?

Laker: Yes…that’s how long we’ve been given.

Daitetsu: I don’t get it…why don’t they just attack the Earth?

Tetsuya: Maybe they don’t want the Earth itself…?

Sean: Well, I doubt the White Star’s here on a sightseeing tour.

Sean: By the way, Commander…did you get a visual of Levi Tolar?

Laker: No, just audio.

Sean: Too bad. I’m curious what female aliens look like…

Daitetsu: You never change, Sean.

Laker: At any rate, if they attack us using their advanced technology…

Laker: The Earth won’t last three days.

Tetsuya: You must be joking…

Daitetsu: They’ve been observing us for years, and they know our weaknesses.

Sean: They also have warp technology, and who knows what else, that we don’t…

Sean: It’s more likely that they could conquer us in three hours instead of days.

Tetsuya: Th-Three hours…!

Sean: For all we know, the White Star could be a weapon in and of itself.

Tetsuya: Th-Then…is it possible for the Aerogaters to destroy the Earth…?

Sean: Maybe, or even the whole solar system.

Tetsuya: …!

Lefina: XO, please don’t tease Tetsuya.

Tetsuya: C-Captain Lefina…

Lefina: If the Aerogaters wanted to destroy the Earth, they would have done so.

Lefina: They wouldn’t ask for our surrender.

Tetsuya: R-Right…

Sean: Heh heh heh…you still have a lot to learn, Vice-Captain.

Sean: Lt. Col. Daitetsu is counting on you, isn’t he?

Tetsuya: But, the Earth might really be in danger…or maybe…

Tetsuya: Some other crisis just as bad as total annihilation may occur.

Sean: Why do you think that?

Tetsuya: Levi Tolar hasn’t spoken of the consequences if we don’t surrender by the end of the grace period.

Tetsuya: In other words, when the thirty days are up…we don’t know what will happen.

Tetsuya: So, we should prepare for the worst.

Sean: Hmm…I take back what I said about you…

Daitetsu: As you should. I have high expectations of him…except he can’t hold his Sake.

Sean: That’s a shame. It’s one of life’s greatest pleasures.

Tetsuya: (A-Are they teasing me again…?)

Laker: General Norman and I agree with Vice-Captain Tetsuya about being prepared.

Laker: The EOT Council is ready to resume talks with the aliens…

Laker: But as soldiers, we must prepare for the worst.

Daitetsu: Is the EFA preparing to attack the White Star?

Laker: No…Schtlessman and the EOT Council have been given complete control.

Daitetsu: What…!

Laker: The EFA is not permitted to engage the Aerogaters.

Lefina: Wait! What if they attack early!?

Sean: We’re only allowed to defend ourselves? This may be a problem…

Daitetsu: Hm…we’ll decided what to do when the time comes.

Sean: Yeah. That’s always been our way.

Sean: Though, it makes it difficult to get promoted.

Laker: Well…don’t get your hopes up.

Daitetsu: Why not?

Laker: The Hagane and Hiryu Custom have been assigned to protect Geneva.

Sean: Hmph…the EOT Council is trying to keep us on a tight leash.

Laker: Norman and I will be dismissed if we don’t comply…

Laker: And you guys will lose your ships.

Sean: Or worse, it could be the catalyst for disbanding the Earth Defense Committee.

Daitetsu: …..

Laker: For the present time, let’s not aggravate matters.

Laker: To that end, you should depart for Geneva.

Daitetsu: …..

Hagane – Hangar

Masaki: Hey, Lune. What’re you doing in the Valsione?

Lune: I’m having Radha and Ryoto check the computer memory.

Masaki: Computer memory? Why?

Lune: The Valsione was built by my father…

Lune: I thought it might contain info on the DC.

Kuro: What kind of info?

Lune: Like the locations of their secret bases.

Kuro: I see, meow. Then, we might be able to find the princess.

Lune: We can’t just let the DC run around unchecked.

Lune: Oh, you two…how’d it go? Did you find anything?

Ryoto: We found some sort of secret file…

Radha: But we can’t seem to unlock it.

Lune: I see…

Ryoto: If only we knew the rest of the password…

Radha: ! I’ve got it…!

Ryoto: You have a solution!?

Radha: Not exactly…but I can teach you some yoga to help clear your mind.

Ryoto: Uh…I’ll pass.

Radha: Kuro, Shiro, how about you?

Shiro: W-We’ll pass, meow.

Masaki: (Is there such a thing as yoga for cats?)

Lune: Hey, Ryoto. Has the computer displayed any kind of hint?

Ryoto: “What do you do in the face of evil?” That’s the message that appeared…

Lune: Simple. Just enter “Don’t wait for heaven’s judgement.”

Ryoto: Oh, OK…

Radha: ! It worked!

Lune: See?

Masaki: …How did you know that?

Lune: Easy, it’s from an old TV show.

Masaki: Wow…I gotta hand it to you. You’re pretty smart.

Lune: Huh? Really?

Masaki: Yeah.

Lune: Thanks. Even if you don’t mean it.

Radha: We’re getting some kind of visual.

Lune: Visual?

Radha: Yes. It was attached to the data.

Bian: …My dear Lune…

Lune: ! Father…!?

Bian: …By the time you see this message, I will have passed on.

Bian: …After my death, in anticipation for what is to come, I leave you this data and the Valsione.

Bian: Use it however you see fit…

Lune: …..

Ryoto: ! Radha, take a look at this data!

Radha: Various DC plans, EOT and Aerogater data…

Radha: All heavily classified.

Ryoto: With this, we might be able to find the DC’s main base.

Masaki: Hey, that’s great!

Shiro: Right, meow!

Lune: (…Father…)

Lune: (…Thank you for thinking ahead…)

Rob: Ryoto.

Ryoto: Dr. Ohmiya…

Rob: Your blueprints for a modified Lion have been approved.

Ryoto: Really? That was faster than I expected.

Rob: That’s because the plans you made were clear and easy to follow.

Masaki: Modified Lion…what’re you talking about?

Ryoto: A unit enhanced with extra armor and weaponry…the Armored Lion.

Ryoto: Or rather, the Armorlion. I designed it myself.

Izu Base – Private Room

Aya: Major Ingram…I just returned.

Ingram: Welcome back. How’s the R-3?

Aya: It’s ready for combat. It’ll be used in the next battle.

Ingram: Good. I take it working with Dr. Kobayashi paid off.

Aya: Y-Yes sir.

Ingram: The R-2 and R-3’s AUX parts will take a bit more time.

Ingram: Until then, make sure you can use the T-LINK System.

Aya: Yes, sir. Although…may I ask you a question…?

Ingram: What is it?

Aya: Major, did you know that Ryu’s mother was at ICS with my father?

Ingram: …Yes.

Aya: Then, that’s why he’s in Project SRX?

Ingram: No…that was a coincidence. However, I must ask that you refrain from telling Ryusei. It appears that his mother has not told him.

Aya: Y-Yes, sir…

Ingram: …We’ll be heading out soon. Return to your station.

Aya: …Understood. E-Excuse me.

Ingram: (…Yukiko Date…}

Ingram: (If she still had her powers…)

Ingram: (We might be finished already…)

Izu Base – Briefing Room

Radha: With the data provided by Lune…we have determined the most likely location for the DC’s headquarters.

Lefina: And where would that be?

Radha: An underground facility near Kenya, the Earth Cradle.

Laker: So, it does exist.

Radha: The construction had been halted at the time this data was recorded…

Radha: And considering the DC recent movements…

Radha: They must have completed construction and made it their base.

Tetsuya: But, weren’t the Earth Cradle and Project Ark intended for long-term hibernation?

Sean: Hmm…the Moon Cradle had a weapons plant and maintenance area.

Sean: If the Earth Cradle is the same size…

Sean: It would be the perfect DC base.

Lefina: And, it’s likely Princess Shine has been taken there…

Daitetsu: …..

Sean: What should we do, Captain? We know where the DC are…

Daitetsu: …For now, we’ll head to Geneva as ordered.

Sean: For now?

Daitetsu: It’s possible that the DC will take advantage of the current confusion and target Geneva.

Daitetsu: Or they may target us…due to the fact that we’re the most powerful unit in the EFA…

Sean: I see. So we’re going to let them make the first move.

Daitetsu: Yes. We have no choice at this point.

Daitetsu: Captain Lefina, Vice-Captain Tetsuya…prepare the ships for departure.

Lefina: Yes, sir.
